Liberals are at it again—this time trying to shove a so-called “billionaire tax” down America’s throat. When their ideas are this shaky, you can always tell. They bring in a parade of Nobel Prize winners to back them up, as if anyone outside the Ivy League cares what these out-of-touch elites think about real-world money.
Taxing billionaires sounds nice at fancy cocktail parties in Manhattan or San Francisco, but it’s a disaster for everyone else. The left loves to pretend their schemes only target the super-wealthy, but anyone paying attention knows where this road leads. First, they tax the billionaires. Next, they come for small business owners and regular families—anyone who dares work hard and succeed.
What’s really going on here? This isn’t about “fairness” or “justice.” It’s about control. The globalist crowd wants to dictate who’s allowed to succeed in America. They’d rather punish achievement than let regular Americans dream big. Some Nobel laureates nod along, desperate to be relevant, but regular people see the scam for what it is.
Liberals say this tax will fix everything, but their math doesn’t add up. If their policies actually worked, cities run by progressives wouldn’t be falling apart. They give speeches about closing “tax loopholes,” yet ignore the fact that these taxes slow down innovation and drive jobs out of the country. The hypocrisy is shameless.
If your idea needs a squad of prize-winning economists to explain why it isn’t insane, maybe it’s just plain insane. America doesn’t need more economic experiments. We need freedom, opportunity, and leaders with common sense. Isn’t it time the left stopped trying to punish the American Dream?
