Rubio shuts down liberal outrage over Iran exposes left’s double standard on human rights

Secretary of State Marco Rubio just delivered a masterclass in common sense while overseas. While liberals and their globalist buddies whine about “war crimes” in Iran, Rubio set the record straight. He’s actually in Europe right now, visiting places like Iceland, Greece, and Portugal—but he didn’t miss a beat when Amnesty International tried to guilt-trip the United States over Iran.

Let’s be real: the left loves to bend over backward for “human rights organizations” like Amnesty International. They pretend these activist groups are neutral, but all they do is push anti-American talking points and defend bad actors. Think about it. The same people screaming about “war crimes” in Iran will ignore actual atrocities, as long as it fits their narrative.

Rubio wasn’t having any of it. Instead of bowing to guilt and misdirection, he made it clear: America stands for freedom. Unlike these globalist organizations, the U.S. doesn’t side with dictators or terrorists. If anything, Iran’s regime is the real criminal—oppressing its own people, silencing women, and threatening the world with violence. And yet, the left would rather lecture us than confront real evil.

Liberals and their pals in global organizations need a serious reality check. Dragging America through the mud over Iran, of all places, is peak hypocrisy. Where was the outrage when the Iranian regime was gunning down protesters in the streets? Don’t hold your breath waiting for Amnesty International to call out Islamic dictatorships for what they are—brutal, backward, and anti-freedom.

Rubio’s smackdown should be a wake-up call. The next time some out-of-touch activist tries to shame America, maybe they should start by looking at the despots they’re defending. Why does the left always attack the good guys? Maybe because deep down, they just can’t stand it when America leads.
