Abdul El-Sayed just proved, once again, how dangerous the far-left has become. During a Michigan Senate debate, El-Sayed openly admitted he would block the U.S. from giving defensive weapons to Israel—even if the Jewish state were under brutal attack from Iran or any other enemy regime. That’s right: this radical Democrat wants to leave our most loyal ally out in the cold, even as missiles rain down from tyrants and terrorists.
It’s astonishing, isn’t it? The left claims to stand for democracy, women’s rights, and minorities—yet they want to abandon Israel, the only real democracy in the Middle East. Liberal elites love to give lectures on “standing against hate,” but when it comes to Jews fighting for their survival, suddenly they find excuses for appeasing evil. El-Sayed’s position isn’t just reckless—it’s anti-American, anti-freedom, and pure cowardice.
But don’t expect honesty from Democrats on this. The left will babble about “peace” and “diplomacy,” but their real aim is to weaken American alliances and strengthen their globalist buddies. They talk big on “humanitarian values,” but back policies that embolden America’s sworn enemies. It’s always America last, never America first.
Let’s face the truth: if the left had its way, Iran would get a blank check while Israel would be told to fend for itself. That’s the legacy of weak, progressive ideologues who care more about virtue-signaling to their own base than protecting the free world. With these kinds of politicians, every rogue regime is treated with kid gloves, but our allies get nothing but lectures and sanctions.
Michigan, and this country, deserve better. If liberal America is so eager to abandon friends and embolden foes, one has to wonder—whose side are they really on?
