For twelve long days, the Democrat taking on Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for a U.S. Senate seat has completely dropped off the radar. You’d think that when Americans are looking for strong leadership, their candidate would actually bother to show up. But apparently, the left’s best and brightest can’t even make it to the campaign trail.
Ken Paxton’s campaign isn’t mincing words. They want to know if Talarico is even alive—and frankly, so do the voters. It shouldn’t be too much to ask for a little transparency from someone claiming to “represent the people.” This isn’t just a vacation. This is a twelve day vanishing act during a crucial campaign. Texans deserve accountability, not politicians who run for cover.
What’s Talarico hiding from? Maybe his party’s record. Maybe he can’t face fair questions about soaring inflation, Biden’s border disaster, or the radical agenda that’s suffocating the American middle class. Or maybe he’s just toeing the liberal line: vanish when things get tough, and let the left-wing media make excuses for you. Is this supposed to be leadership? Because from where real Texans sit, it looks like cowardice.
While Paxton continues to do the hard work, fighting for conservative values and putting people first, Talarico’s silence screams volumes. The same folks who told us “democracy dies in darkness” now can’t even find their own Senate nominee in broad daylight. It’s a joke, and the punchline is always on American families.
We’re supposed to trust Democrats with the keys to our country? They can’t even find their own candidate. Maybe next time the left needs a “proof of life” stunt, they should start by looking in a mirror for any trace of leadership, responsibility, or American backbone. This is what passes for opposition these days? No wonder the country is in trouble.
