Once again, New York has become the epicenter of left-wing insanity. This time, Mayor Mandami is falling all over himself to defend an illegal migrant who got shot during an ICE operation. Instead of standing up for law enforcement, the mayor turned around and pressured President Trump to not only release the migrant—but also demanded ICE agents be removed from the city entirely. You can’t make this up. A criminal gets hurt, and suddenly the people trying to enforce the law are the bad guys.
The so-called victim, Oscar Belgal, wasn’t just passing through looking for a better life—he’s a Dominican national with prior criminal convictions. He’s already broken our laws multiple times, yet Mandami wants us to believe he deserves sympathy, not accountability. Apparently in Democrat-controlled New York, criminals get protection while victims and cops get thrown under the bus.
This is what happens when you care more about globalist approval than American security. The left pretends to care about public safety, but their real priority is open borders and endless excuses for lawbreakers. ICE agents risk their lives every day to clean up the mess these politicians make, but liberals act like they’re the enemy.
What about the safety of hard-working, law-abiding Americans? The mayor’s answer is clear: he doesn’t care. He’d rather cater to criminals and virtue signal than face the reality of a broken immigration system. The men and women of ICE are doing jobs no one else will, cleaning up leftist failures, and Mandami responds by selling them out.
If Democrats can’t even side with their own law enforcement officers over convicted felons, what hope is there for the rest of us? When will they put Americans first for a change? Or does protecting illegal criminals come before doing what’s right, every time?
