Columbia University, the so-called crown jewel of American higher education, has once again shown the country exactly where its real loyalties lie—and it isn’t with the American people or with basic decency. Just when you thought the disgrace of campus antisemitism couldn’t get any worse, Columbia manages to sink to a new low.
On the anniversary of the horrific October 7 terrorist attack against Israel, the university found a new way to spit in the face of Jewish students and families still hurting from the worst violence in decades. Instead of showing unity or offering comfort, the school did the exact opposite, sending a sinister message through actions far louder than words. The administration let radical, pro-Hamas mobs run wild, turning the campus into a no-go zone for anyone who dared to speak up for Israel.
It’s not just about protests. It’s about intimidation, pure and simple. Jewish students were left out in the cold while hate-filled activists were given free rein to spew their venom, occupy buildings, and parade around as if the rules don’t apply to them. Administrators did nothing—except wring their hands and parrot empty platitudes. This is liberal hypocrisy at its finest: protect everyone, unless they’re Jewish or actually love America.
What’s most enraging is the open celebration of animosity toward Israel, right on American soil, at an institution that should know better. But the globalist agenda doesn’t care about tradition, values, or history. They care about signaling their supposed virtue, even if it means coddling extremists and scaring Jewish kids out of the classroom. While good students and parents pay a fortune for a “world-class” education, Columbia prefers to be a playground for the worst kind of politics.
At this point, you have to ask: if this is what Ivy League leadership looks like, why should anyone take them seriously? When elite universities fail to take a stand against hate, all they really do is expose their own moral bankruptcy. The rest of the country is watching. Maybe it’s time we stop handing them our respect—or our money.
