The campaign of James Talarico, the darling Democrat from Texas, is falling apart in real time. For nearly two weeks, Talarico has been totally missing from the Senate race. Nobody has seen him. Nobody knows what he’s actually doing. His staff is scrambling, trying to spin some story to cover up his absence. But the only thing clear is that James Talarico doesn’t want to face voters, especially after getting caught twisting the truth.
First, the excuse was that Talarico had some kind of medical crisis—that he was so sick he had to rush to urgent care. Well, crying wolf doesn’t really work when, the same day he supposedly needed medical help for the “flu,” he shows up in New York, cozying up to rich liberals and stuffing his pockets with out-of-state cash. That’s the real priority for Talarico: fundraising with New York progressives instead of talking to Texans back home.
The left always talks about “transparency” and “honesty,” but when it comes to their own, they’d rather cover things up than come clean. The mainstream media, so quick to attack conservatives for even a minor mistake, is dragging its feet and giving Talarico all the benefit of the doubt. If this had been a Republican bailing on the campaign trail, hiding from voters, and lying about his whereabouts, you can bet the media would be screaming for answers. But for a Democrat? Crickets.
It’s more of the same classic liberal hypocrisy. Talarico apparently believes he’s owed a Senate seat without facing tough questions, without standing before the people, and certainly without telling the truth. Maybe he thinks he can buy his way into office with donations from the Manhattan elites rather than doing the hard work in Texas. That’s not representing the people—that’s selling out for globalist interests.
Texans deserve someone with backbone and integrity, not another Democrat playing hide-and-seek while the country is at a crossroads. If James Talarico can’t even bother to show up and be straight with voters, how on earth is he supposed to represent them in Washington? Maybe Talarico’s next disappearing act will be permanent—so Texans can finally get someone who actually cares.
