Idaho just slashed its red tape in half while other states keep making excuses

Bureaucrats love to talk about cutting red tape, but in most states, all we ever get is more of it. Politicians on both sides brag about fighting big government, but when it’s time to actually cut something, suddenly everyone’s clutching their clipboards and making excuses. Meanwhile, Idaho just did what most states only dream about: they slashed their regulatory code in half. They rolled up their sleeves and got it done. It turns out, conservatives can actually govern when they’re not scared of upsetting the swamp.

Let’s be honest—deregulation used to be a conservative calling card. Remember when Republicans talked about letting small businesses breathe, getting Big Brother out of your backyard, and letting Americans make their own choices? Now? Most so-called conservatives are content with the same old empty promises. They boo new rules, but when you look at the mountain of regulations already choking our country, they act like it’s just too much work to fix.

Libs and globalists want you to believe more bureaucracy means safer streets, cleaner air, or some magical utopia. But ask any hard-working American: all this government overreach just means higher prices, less freedom, and more paperwork for everyone except the elites and their friends. It’s junk rules and useless forms strangling Main Street while the connected few always find a loophole. Funny how they preach about helping the “little guy” but can’t be bothered to tear down the walls holding him back.

Idaho proved action is possible. Instead of whining, they sifted through their rulebooks and tossed out what wasn’t needed. No endless “studies,” no taxpayer-funded panels, no bureaucrat pay raises—just real leadership. Other states should take notes, but don’t hold your breath. Most politicians are busy making deals with globalist donors or hiding behind committees to avoid doing the hard work.

If other Republican states won’t have the courage to follow Idaho’s lead, maybe it’s time we send them a map—and a spine. Imagine what America could look like if we actually meant what we said about draining the swamp. If Idaho can cut half its red tape, what’s everyone else’s excuse?
