New York’s political elite never misses a chance to grandstand when it involves so-called “undocumented immigrants”—even if those immigrants are alleged criminals. Recently, an illegal alien, believed to be a gang member, was shot by ICE officers while resisting arrest. You’d expect public leaders to stand behind law enforcement. Instead, they jumped to demonize ICE and rally for supposed immigrants’ rights, demanding again that we “abolish ICE.”
Isn’t it strange how people like Zohran Mamdani and his far-left friends seem to care more about the wellbeing of those here illegally, even if they are dangerous criminals, than about the safety of ordinary Americans? Where was the outrage for victims—the innocent men, women, and children whose lives are shattered when violent crime happens? It’s always the same tired playbook: shed tears for criminals, but barely whisper for American victims.
This is the twisted result of putting open borders and globalist interests above law and order. New York’s leaders are quick to demonize anyone defending American streets, while coddling those who break our laws—sometimes with deadly consequences. Instead of addressing the real problem—illegal activity and gang violence—they waste their energy blaming ICE for doing its job.
People like Mamdani seem to believe that protecting American citizens and enforcing our borders is somehow wrong. But who stands up for the families hurt by criminal aliens? Who will speak for the victims left terrified, grieving, or worse—forgotten—because our so-called leaders care more about virtue signaling than actually keeping us safe? Their priorities are upside down.
Americans deserve politicians who side with the law-abiding, not the law-breakers. When will New York’s progressives finally care as much about innocent victims as they do about defending criminals? Maybe when pigs fly—or when they remember which country they’re supposed to be serving.
