Spain is falling apart—and no one in charge seems to care. Just look at Ibiza. Young locals there are done watching as their own homeland slips out of their hands. Last month, they took action, staging an “occupation” on a local beach. What drove them? It’s simple. They’re tired of watching outsiders bulldoze their traditions, crowd their spaces, and erase everything that made their island home unique. The youth of Ibiza have had enough, and honestly, who can blame them?
This is what happens when globalist elites and leftist politicians cozy up to big tourism and international money. They sell out everyday people, trading away culture and community for empty profits and progressive talking points. The so-called leaders of Spain are so busy appeasing Brussels bureaucrats and foreign investors, they’ve forgotten what matters most—their own citizens. Ibiza should be warning enough, except liberal Europe keeps ignoring every red flag in the name of “progress.”
The liberals promised diversity and prosperity. Yet their genius plan leaves the real people—working families, lifelong residents—priced out and pushed aside, just so wealthy foreigners can party in their backyard. Locals who speak up are called “backward,” “selfish,” or worse. That’s always how it goes: the left claims to defend the little guy, right up until the little guy actually demands respect for his own home.
Meanwhile, these same globalists and left-wing elites will lecture the world about tolerance, while their own people are silenced and squeezed out. It’s only getting worse. When native youth have to stage a protest just to make their voices heard, you know something is seriously broken.
America should take note: foreign influence, open borders, and globalist policies never protect the people who built this country—or any other. How much longer until more locals, in Spain and everywhere else, say “enough” and take matters into their own hands? Maybe it’s time to put our own citizens first, before there’s nothing left worth fighting for.
