Once again, America watches in shock as the so-called “elite” in charge of protecting our former president let a loaded Glock slip right through the cracks—literally. At President Trump’s own Virginia golf club, not some no-name dive bar, the Secret Service’s overpaid professionals missed a gun sitting in a gym bag. While bureaucrats run around patting themselves on the back for “protecting democracy,” basic security fails in the very places they claim to guard most closely. Isn’t it amazing how these same liberals who want to tell us average Americans how to store our guns can’t even keep track of firearms on their own turf?
The story gets even more embarrassing. The gun’s owner made it through their fancy screening, enjoyed a nice lunch, and went on swimming—completely undetected. The Secret Service never noticed. It took the gun owner himself to come forward after realizing his pistol had made it all the way inside. This isn’t “an abundance of caution” or some rare mistake. It’s pure incompetence by the very people paid to keep our leaders safe.
Let’s play this out with any other president. If this happened during the Obama administration, the mainstream media would be screaming about racism, violence, and national security. If it was Biden, we’d have endless talking heads using it as an excuse to push for even more gun control, blaming law-abiding citizens for government mistakes. But because it’s Trump, the left shrugs. After all, their double standards are as predictable as their globalist talking points.
These are the same government “experts” who want to tell you how to live every second of your life. They claim only the authorities should have guns. They say you don’t need the Second Amendment, just trust the professionals. Yet here we are, with those so-called experts missing a gun sitting right under their noses in a place they’re supposed to guard with their lives.
And to top it off, the true adult in the room is the gun owner—the responsible, law-abiding citizen liberals love to demonize. He admitted the mistake and did the right thing. Meanwhile, the paid “security” couldn’t do their job. Maybe next time the Secret Service should ditch the woke seminars and pay attention to basic safety. Or maybe, just maybe, it shows us once again that the only people who can really ensure our safety are ourselves.
The big question is—if they can’t protect the golf club, how can anyone trust them to protect our nation?
