Andrew Sedra and his family, who left Egypt in 2007 to escape Islamic oppression, are now being targeted in Australia for simply sharing their faith.
Let’s call this what it is: religious intolerance creeping into Western democracies. The left loves to talk about “diversity” and “tolerance,” but when Christians become victims, suddenly they go silent. Where are the progressive voices demanding action when Muslim extremists try to silence a pastor? You won’t hear a peep, because it doesn’t fit their narrative. It’s the same old song and dance—Christians are fair game, while radical ideologies get a free pass.
Globalist elites and out-of-touch politicians will tell you this is just an isolated incident. But open your eyes—it’s a dangerous pattern. Massive immigration with zero accountability means bringing in cultures that don’t always share our values. There’s no serious vetting. The consequences? People like Sedra’s family are forced to relive the nightmare they tried to leave behind.
Let’s not kid ourselves: this is what happens when you weaken borders and ignore the threats lurking within. Instead of protecting ordinary citizens, weak-kneed leaders look the other way, terrified of being called “intolerant.” They protect their political careers instead of families like Sedra’s. Australia is just the latest canary in the coal mine.
How much longer are we supposed to pretend everything’s fine? At what point will the West stand up for its own people and its own values? If politicians keep playing nice with radicals, we’re going to see a lot more pastors—and a lot more Americans—paying the price for liberal cowardice.
