When regular folks in Texas skip work for two weeks without telling anyone, they can expect a pink slip. But apparently, if you’re a privileged liberal running for the Texas Senate like James Talarico, you get a free pass. Talarico vanished for a whopping fourteen days, nowhere to be found, leaving his constituents in the dark and only now popping up as if nothing happened. Must be nice to have that kind of luxury, while hardworking Texans are out here grinding every single day.
Meanwhile, Attorney General Ken Paxton didn’t let this slide. He ripped into Talarico’s mysterious disappearance, and who can blame him? Texans deserve accountability from their leaders, not ghosting. It’s honestly embarrassing how these Democrats demand the spotlight during elections but duck responsibility the moment things get tough.
This isn’t just some minor slip-up. Talarico wants to “serve” in the state Senate, yet he can’t even keep track of his own schedule. It begs the question—what exactly was so important that he abandoned his post? Maybe he’s getting his marching orders from the far-left elite and globalist donors, or maybe he just thinks the rules don’t apply to him. Either way, the silence speaks volumes.
Liberals love to talk about fighting for the people, but when times get hard, they scatter faster than you can say “climate summit.” Talarico’s disappearing act is exactly what’s wrong with the Democratic Party today—no accountability, no respect for the voters, just a hunger for power and special treatment.
If Texas wants real leadership, we can’t put our faith in politicians who treat elected office like a vacation. The working people of this state shouldn’t have to play hide-and-seek with someone asking for their vote. Maybe next time Talarico takes a two-week break, the voters will decide to make it permanent. Why should the rest of us put up with this nonsense?
