The Department of Justice is actually going after media giants, but not for what you might think. Instead of holding these leftist networks accountable for decades of biased reporting, the DOJ wants to play referee because a few failed newsrooms are throwing tantrums over access to Trump coverage. The so-called “mainstream” media are now in hot water after five of the big broadcast networks teamed up to freeze out coverage, all because the Trump administration is finally putting a boot on the neck of their liberal friends at CNN, some cable flunkies, and Politico.
Let’s not pretend that these media elites actually care about democracy. When one of their own gets locked out, they circle the wagons and try to crush any network daring to do things differently. That’s not journalism. That’s mob behavior, plain and simple. The minute their golden circle of access is threatened, they start acting like playground bullies. But when the DOJ lifts a finger and pokes into their business, suddenly they’re clutching their pearls about “antitrust law.”
It’s comical. The moment Trump tells the loudest left-wing voices to take a seat, the rest of the media can’t hide their real colors. These broadcasters claim they’re protecting the public’s right to know. In reality, they want to keep their monopoly, pushing fake news, spinning stories, and acting like the American people are too dumb to think for themselves. This is a clear example of the establishment protecting its own, not standing up for free speech.
Leftist hypocrisy is everywhere. The same so-called journalists who screamed about censorship when they had every microphone in America now have the nerve to block anyone who dares to have a different view. If a conservative network fought back like this, the media mob would demand investigations, hearings, and probably a new witch hunt committee. But when it’s liberal networks shutting people out, they expect everyone to just shut up and obey.
America deserves better than media cartels acting like dictators. Big broadcasters are terrified that, for once, they might not be able to set the narrative and rig the game. Maybe the DOJ should look deeper into why these companies have so much power in the first place. If the public can’t trust the media to play fair, maybe it’s time to break up their cozy club and let some real voices speak up. Who’s afraid of a little competition—other than these woke broadcasters clutching their exclusive invitations?
