It never fails. Whenever a liberal TV anchor tries to trip up a Republican, they end up looking foolish. This week, ABC’s Jonathan Karl—nobody’s idea of a neutral reporter—decided to run with one of his favorite clownish talking points. Karl, as usual, tried to downplay concerns about communism, as if decades of bloodshed and lost freedom under that evil ideology are just Republican make-believe.
But reality slapped back, thanks to the House Majority Whip. While Karl flailed around in his cozy studio, the Whip steamrolled right over the nonsense. It’s about time someone stood up and reminded these smug media elites that communists—and their double-talking enablers—are never far from real power. The left acts like it’s ancient history. But for millions around the world, the scars of communism are still bleeding. Only a liberal would try to make this sound harmless.
The media keeps hoping Americans will ignore the anti-American garbage coming from today’s far left. They wrap socialism in a shiny new package, call it “equity,” and expect us all to clap like trained seals. Meanwhile, their globalist pals get richer while the average American loses out. The so-called “free press” is more interested in running interference for failed leftist policies than telling the truth. When called out, they get defensive or outright silly—like Karl desperately trying to salvage credibility.
It’s not just about political points. The real danger comes when media stooges treat communism like a joke. This is the system that brought gulags, breadlines, and mass graves. Yet here in America, the left’s apologists roll their eyes and repeat tired talking points. They act shocked when anyone with a backbone—like the House Majority Whip—calls them out. The hypocrisy would be laughable if it weren’t so dangerous.
How much more of this spin does the country have to take before we say enough is enough? Liberals love to claim the moral high ground, but if they cared half as much about America as they claim, maybe they’d stop running cover for history’s worst ideas. Do they actually believe this garbage—or do they just think we’re too stupid to notice? It’s time to stop letting these clownish talking heads set the agenda and start calling them out at every turn.
