Far-left activist Darializa Avila Chevalier just proved once again how out of touch she is with everyday Americans. Instead of protecting families from violent criminals, she signals to would-be thugs that their rap sheets don’t matter. According to her, Oscar Belgal—a man with a track record of violence—deserves freedom, no questions asked. Apparently, it doesn’t mean a thing if someone has spent years making their neighborhood a living nightmare.
Is this what “progress” looks like to the radical left? They fall all over themselves to defend people who have already shown they’re a danger to the public, yet law-abiding citizens are left to fend for themselves. Why do liberals like Avila Chevalier insist on putting criminals ahead of victims? It’s like common sense is a foreign concept to them.
Everyday Americans are tired of living in fear while elites play activist from their gated communities. They never have to worry about Oscar Belgal strolling through their neighborhoods. No, it’s moms, seniors, and hard-working folks who pay the price for this reckless ideology. But the left would rather coddle offenders than actually solve the crime problem they’ve created.
This is just more proof that woke politicians care more about their radical image than about safety and order. They demonize police, undermine laws, and let repeat offenders loose in the name of “reform.” But when the next tragedy strikes, they’ll be the first to deflect blame—never holding their own policies accountable for the chaos they unleash.
How many more lives have to be destroyed before liberals decide criminals’ “feelings” aren’t more important than American families’ safety? Voters are waking up to the carnage. If Avila Chevalier stands for letting violent men like Belgal walk free, then she doesn’t belong anywhere near the levers of power. Maybe someone should ask her how many innocent people have to be hurt before she admits she’s wrong.
