Worse, Smith’s team didn’t bother telling the judges that they’d be snooping on lawyers—yes, actual legal counsel. Apparently, attorney-client privilege doesn’t matter anymore if your name isn’t Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden. The rules always seem to change when it’s Trump on the receiving end.
The fruits of this shameless overreach? The government tracked calls between lawmakers, legal teams, and even journalists. So much for freedom of the press and privacy. The left loves to preach about “democracy dying in darkness,” but it looks like they’re the ones flipping off the light switch when it’s convenient for them.
It’s no accident Obama’s judges were picked for this scheme. The deep state elites want nothing more than to stop Trump from returning to the White House. They have zero respect for fair play, legal boundaries, or what’s actually good for America.
