San Francisco mayor finally admits the woke agenda ruined the city but can Democrats fix it

San Francisco is the playground of woke policies and failed leadership, and anyone with eyes can see the damage. It’s no secret that this once-great city has turned into a national punchline, all thanks to the radical left letting chaos and crime run wild. Don’t expect a conservative miracle—no Republican is winning the mayor’s office here anytime soon. Liberals built this mess, and they keep doubling down.

Now, here comes Mayor Daniel Lurie. Compared to the usual California Democrats, he almost sounds sane. But the bar is so low, bringing a little common sense to City Hall suddenly seems heroic. The truth is, there’d have to be total anarchy before this city gave a Republican a real shot. Voters are stuck picking between shades of blue—none of them conservative enough to fix the real problems.

At least Lurie isn’t pretending anymore. He’s confirming what everyone already knew: the “do whatever you want” attitude in San Francisco has been a disaster. Letting criminals take over the streets, ignoring drug dens on every corner, and caving to every activist demand hasn’t made life better—it’s ruined the city. Shops close down, families pack up and leave, and tourists stay away. That’s the price of putting feelings over facts.

Lurie wants us to believe he’s ready to tackle the mayhem, but can a Democrat really fix what decades of progressives have destroyed? Globalist interests, out-of-touch elites, and so-called “social justice warriors” have run this city into the ground. Now, they want to act shocked when their own experiment backfires. Sorry, but it’s too late to rewrite history.

Until San Francisco admits that conservative ideas like law and order, personal responsibility, and respect for business are the answer, the decline will continue. Lip service isn’t enough. Real change doesn’t come with another Democrat promising to “do better.” Here’s the bottom line: if liberals are finally admitting they broke the city, why do voters keep handing them the keys?
