Zelensky slams Trump energy move liberals panic while Americans keep paying at the pump

Once again, we’re watching foreign leaders lecture Americans about how to run our country. This time, it’s Ukraine’s President Zelensky throwing stones at a Trump plan to buy Russian diesel oil. He’s moaning that the amount set to be imported is too small to make a real impact on global energy prices. Of course, Zelensky and his globalist friends want to call the shots on America’s energy future—because they’re terrified of leadership that actually puts our citizens first.

Let’s brace for the usual cries from the left about “global unity” and bowing to international opinion. But here’s the truth: everyday Americans are tired of sky-high gas prices and energy policies designed to make D.C. elites and their European pals happy. While liberals sit around worrying about their cocktail party reputation in Brussels and Davos, families here are emptying their wallets just to fill up the tank and heat their homes. Who cares if the global market shivers at a Trump move? It’s about time someone stood up for the American wallet.

Zelensky’s complaint is the same tired script we always get from international power players. They want America to shoulder the burden, pay the bills, and never question their tactics or motives. Meanwhile, the Biden administration has left us desperate for energy by shutting down our own oil and gas production—forcing us to scramble and play nice with our enemies abroad. The Democrats have handed energy leverage to foreign governments while we beg for pennies at the pump.

It’s laughable to see liberals act shocked when Trump hints at making moves that break with their failed “America-last” doctrine. Sure, buying diesel from Russia doesn’t solve everything, but at least it’s a step—a move that recognizes our country’s real problems instead of pandering to globalist talking points from bureaucrats who never worked a day outside of politics. Zelensky and the left refuse to accept that lowering costs for Americans matters more than impressing international panels and NGOs.

Maybe the big question is this: since when did Americans need permission from foreign politicians to make life better here at home? It’s time to stop letting globalist whiners dictate our domestic agenda. America first is not a slogan—it’s a necessity. If Trump’s plan upsets Zelensky and his band of global busybodies, maybe he’s finally doing something right.
