Britain fought long and hard to break free from the European Union’s grip. Millions of ordinary Brits stood up to the globalists, saying enough is enough. Now, here comes Prime Minister Andy Burnham, dancing to Brussels’ tune, refusing to rule out the unthinkable: dragging the UK right back into the EU–all without letting the people have their say again.
Instead of respecting the will of voters, Burnham floats the tired excuse that so-called Russian interference tainted the Brexit vote. It’s the same old liberal playbook: blame the Russians, smear the voters, and ignore the results they don’t like. When will these elites stop treating their own citizens like gullible fools for not supporting their vision of endless international bureaucracy?
Let’s be honest. The left doesn’t care about democracy when it gets in the way of their power. Over and over, they preach about “the people’s voice” but then scramble to reverse anything that disrupts their globalist agenda. They’ll go as far as throwing out one of the largest democratic mandates in modern British history, all to please their buddies in Brussels and line the pockets of unelected bureaucrats.
This isn’t just a problem for Britain. This is a warning to every free nation: the globalist left will twist any excuse, from Russian meddling to climate panic, to strip away sovereignty and silence the voices they don’t like. If Burnham gets away with this, you can bet his pals across the Atlantic are taking notes for next time the American people dare vote against their wishes.
The British people voted for independence. Now they’re told their decision doesn’t count, and their future could be handed back to foreign bureaucrats without a single new vote. It’s disgraceful. Why do liberal leaders run from democracy when it no longer suits their schemes?
