Another scandal just exploded in liberal-run Baltimore, and no one in the mainstream media seems to care. Why? Because it reveals exactly how Democrats run things when they think no one’s watching. The FBI just raided the city’s Board of School Commissioners, and one of their own got caught dipping into the funds of his own nonprofit. That’s right—the kinds of “servants” liberals love to parade around as role models are lining their pockets while the city’s kids and taxpayers get fleeced.
For years we’ve heard about “integrity” and “accountability” from the left, but it’s just empty talk. When Democrats are in charge, it’s all about back-room deals, sketchy nonprofits, and getting away with as much as possible before anyone brings the house down. They set up endless programs and committees “for the children,” while schools still crumble and kids get left behind—meanwhile, their buddies cash in on phony charity work.
Let’s just say it: If it wasn’t for the FBI finally stepping in, Baltimore’s corrupt school board would have happily kept their hands in the cookie jar. But whenever liberals control the purse strings, “public service” turns into a sleazy grab for personal enrichment. These so-called champions of equality are quick to lecture the rest of America about justice and fairness, but they can’t even clean up their own offices.
Maybe this is what you get when you let the left run the show for decades. They build bureaucracies, invent complicated rules to confuse the public, and then act shocked when one of their own gets caught red-handed. The left loves to talk about “investing in communities,” but all too often, that’s just code for funneling cash to their friends and cronies.
When will people finally wake up to the real racket? Baltimore’s children deserve an education, not a criminal investigation. How many more liberal-run disasters will it take for America to demand better? Maybe it’s time the swamp got drained—starting with the school board.
