France proves the Lefts war on capitalism destroys prosperity and freedom everywhere

The Left never misses a chance to blame capitalism for life’s problems, and now they’re at it again—this time in France. Some politicians over there are using everyday struggles as stage props to attack the free market. It’s the same old story: feelings over facts, emotions over logic, and catchy soundbites instead of real solutions.

They pretend that fixing one person’s hardship justifies wrecking the very system everyone depends on. Liberals love stories about individuals who fall through the cracks. But they never touch on the big picture. They ignore what made modern society wealthy and free. They downplay just how much the market delivers—food, jobs, opportunity, the things we all rely on every single day.

When socialists and politicians shout about fairness, they always dodge the harsh truth: their so-called solutions make everyone worse off, not just the unlucky few. Higher taxes? That chokes growth. More government handouts? That drains productivity. And every time government tries to “fix” the market, it piles up rules and red tape that leave everyone stuck.

Leftists here and across the Atlantic act as if money just falls from the sky. They treat the economy like a game where bureaucrats hand out prizes. But in reality, markets reward work, creativity, and risk-taking—things bureaucrats have never understood. Liberal leaders, from Paris to Washington, are obsessed with dividing up the pie, but they never bother to bake it in the first place.

Europe is showing us what happens when globalist elites and socialist dreamers run wild. Instead of learning from failure, they keep doubling down on redistribution and big government. Is this what America wants to be? The Left might think that punishing markets is progress, but history says otherwise. If conservatives don’t stand up now, we’re headed straight for the same mess.
