House Democrats are at it again, playing the victim instead of respecting law and order. After the Department of Homeland Security raided Rep. Ilhan Omar’s home, Democrat leaders rushed out with their usual fake outrage. They painted the raid as some kind of “violent” act, acting more upset about the enforcement of the law than whatever Omar herself might have done to warrant the visit from federal agents.
It shouldn’t surprise anyone. The modern Democrat party seems more interested in protecting their own power and a globalist agenda than defending American laws. Anytime one of their radical members gets in trouble, they cry foul and blame President Trump, who isn’t even in office right now. They love to drag out old talking points, ranting about Trump’s so-called “deportation machine” while ignoring the real issues: national security, borders, and respect for American law.
This is what passes for leadership on the left. Instead of asking serious questions about why DHS carried out a raid, they point fingers and complain about law enforcement. When it comes to Democrats like Ilhan Omar, accountability is apparently off-limits. They’d rather paint those enforcing the law as villains than ever admit that someone from their side might deserve scrutiny.
Meanwhile, working Americans have watched for years as Democrat politicians make excuses for bad behavior. They shield their favorites and keep pushing policies that put Americans last. How much longer will everyday people put up with this obsession with open borders and endless excuses for lawbreakers—especially when those lawbreakers have a D next to their name?
Maybe it’s time Democrats realize that no one is above the law—not even their globalist poster children. If enforcing immigration law is “disturbing” to them, maybe they should take a long, hard look in the mirror and ask why they keep siding against America’s safety and sovereignty. When will liberals be more concerned about protecting Americans than protecting their own power?
