It’s no surprise that Bill Kristol, the king of failed neocon thinking, wants “all good men” to take up arms to defend Ilhan Omar. Yes, that Ilhan Omar—the radical congresswoman from Minnesota who’s always the first to trash American values and defend open borders. Now, after federal law enforcement actually started digging into her affairs and searched her home, the liberal establishment wants us to circle the wagons around her? Give me a break.
Kristol used to pretend to stand for real conservative principles. Now, like all the other NeverTrump globalist types, he trips over himself to protect anyone who bashes America—so long as it helps their elite cocktail-party club. He’d rather defend a Somali immigrant representing the far-left than admit that maybe, just maybe, law enforcement has a reason to investigate. Liberals love to whine about “defending democracy,” but when there’s a whiff of scrutiny around their pet politicians, suddenly the system is tools of oppression.
Let’s get real. Ilhan Omar has made her priorities loud and clear. She pushes anti-American ideas day in and day out—from calling to defund police, to supporting policies that keep our borders wide open and put America last. The left says she’s a victim when things don’t go her way, but ignores everyday Americans who suffer because of these reckless policies.
The hypocrisy is almost funny if it weren’t so disgusting. When Republicans are investigated, the left throws a party and rushes to convict in the court of public opinion. When one of their own is in hot water? Suddenly it’s time for compassion, unity, and “defending democracy.” This is the game, folks—and Bill Kristol is now cheerleading for it. He’s more interested in currying favor with his Democrat pals than standing up for the American people.
Just ask yourself: Who’s really defending America here? The people who put this country first, or the ones always apologizing for it? Real conservatives don’t take orders from the failed elites like Bill Kristol or throw in the towel every time the left cries “witch hunt.” Maybe it’s time the so-called “good men” Kristol talks about started standing up for America, instead of bending over backwards to rescue the radical left.
