Democrats spend big on Maine election ads but accidentally air them in Oregon instead

Democrats have done it again. This time, their allies poured Super PAC money into campaign ads targeting Maine’s Democratic Senate candidate—but guess what? The ads ran in Portland, Oregon, not Portland, Maine. That’s right, liberal strategists didn’t even get the right state. If you needed more proof that the left is out of touch, here it is, served up on a silver platter.

While Susan Collins, a Republican fighter who’s always put Maine first, is standing strong for her sixth term, Democrats are focused on petty mistakes and out-of-state blunders. They want Troy Jackson, their new golden boy, to grab the Senate seat so they can force their radical agenda onto Mainers. It’s typical. They talk a big game about representation and understanding America’s heartland, but when push comes to shove, they can’t even find it on a map.

This is how Democrats operate: Their big donors and Super PACs sit in fancy boardrooms on the coasts, believing they can buy elections from a thousand miles away. They act like they know what’s best for Maine families, but the truth is, Maine isn’t even on their radar—except as another dot to turn blue. So of course their ads flood TV screens in Oregon. For them, it’s all just flyover country.

Liberals keep promising to fight for regular Americans, but time after time, they prove how clueless they really are. If they can’t keep track of their own campaigns, how can we trust them with our economy, our borders, or our future? Maybe the real reason their ads showed up in the wrong Portland is because their priorities are all wrong. They care more about political theater and Hollywood donors than about working families in Maine or anywhere else.

America deserves leaders who actually pay attention and value the people they claim to serve. Susan Collins represents that spirit—Democrats, though, are too busy bungling basic geography. Maybe instead of trying to buy elections from the West Coast, liberals should finally spend a little time learning the difference between Maine and Oregon. Or are they just hoping voters can’t tell the difference, either?
