Columbus Day is under attack by the usual suspects—the woke crowd and their anti-American friends. Every year, they try to tear down Christopher Columbus and rewrite history to fit their own twisted agenda. But here’s the truth: Columbus was a trailblazer who changed the world. He opened the door to what would become the greatest nation on Earth. While the left cries about “colonialism,” they ignore the real purpose of Columbus Day—honoring a brave Italian explorer and celebrating Italian-American pride.
It’s ridiculous how liberals love to play the blame game. They demand apologies for events that took place over 500 years ago, but never look in the mirror at their own hypocrisy. They want to erase Columbus’s memory because it doesn’t fit their narrative. Somehow, under their rules, history should only be celebrated if it’s approved by the woke elites in big cities and globalist boardrooms. That’s nonsense.
Instead of bashing Columbus, Americans should stand strong for their history. Was the world perfect in the 1400s? Absolutely not. But Columbus had the courage to cross an ocean when most people thought you’d fall off the edge. He represents adventure, discovery, and the spirit that made this country great. The left wants everyone to believe that pride in America somehow equals oppression, but that’s just their anti-American bias talking.
The attacks on Columbus Day are really just another attack on America itself. If the left gets their way, they’ll keep tearing down statues and holiday traditions until there’s nothing left to celebrate. First it’s Columbus, then it’s the Founding Fathers, and eventually it’s anyone who ever said or did something they don’t like. Americans shouldn’t cave to the mob every time the left decides to be offended.
Let’s face it: without leaders who aren’t afraid to push back, the woke left will keep trying to cancel everything proud Americans hold dear. Columbus wasn’t perfect, but neither were any of the so-called heroes the left props up when it suits them. Celebrate Columbus Day, stand up for your history, and ask yourself—if we let the radical left erase this, what do we have left?
