When President Trump declared Ukraine and Russia had agreed to an “energy cease-fire,” the leftist media lost their minds—as usual. Sure, maybe it was a little early to say a deal was done. But let’s not miss the bigger point: Trump is dead right to fight for peace when it comes to energy and infrastructure. Normal Americans want an end to the destruction. Nobody benefits from chaos at oil refineries, power plants, and factories.
Of course, the liberal elite can’t stand it. They’d rather see endless bickering and broken pipelines if it gives them another reason to wag their fingers at Trump. But here’s reality: With energy facilities under attack, the entire world gets dragged into the mess. Gas prices spike, families suffer, and the globalists giggle behind closed doors. Ordinary working folks are the ones paying the price.
Biden’s gang has been asleep at the wheel when it comes to pushing for a real halt on these attacks. Their “leadership” is all talk, no action. They’d rather focus on phony climate change crusades or send blank checks to Ukraine, instead of demanding both sides stop destroying what keeps the world running. It’s classic liberal hypocrisy—they claim to care for peace, yet won’t lift a finger to stop the one thing that could actually help.
Trump knows that energy security is national security. He understands what the so-called experts in Washington ignore. If the attacks don’t stop, it just means more pain at the pump for everyday Americans. The left wants us to accept endless war and endless spending, while they virtue signal from their taxpayer-funded offices.
Pushing for a cease-fire on energy attacks is not weakness. It’s common sense. Only Trump has the guts to ignore the globalist whiners and get serious about results. Americans want affordable gas, not more empty promises. If Biden and the liberals had any backbone, they’d do the same. But why would they? They’ve never cared about Main Street.
Maybe the better question is, do the leftists want peace—or do they just want to keep blaming Trump for their own failures?
