Why Are US Politicians Backing a Ukrainian President Who Canceled Elections and Clings to Power

Once again, American politicians are getting played by a foreign leader. President Zelensky from Ukraine comes crawling for more U.S. handouts, even as Russia pounds his country and he admits he’s got no warning about those attacks. It’s chaos over there. But here’s the real kicker: Zelensky’s term actually expired, and yet, he’s clinging to power, canceling elections because of “the war.” Does that sound like freedom? Or does it sound like another corrupt leader looking to rewrite the rules to stay in charge?

The Biden team and all their globalist buddies can’t say enough about “defending democracy in Ukraine.” But what kind of democracy cancels elections, lets the president overstay his welcome, and begs for billions more dollars from hardworking Americans? If the roles were flipped, the left would be screaming about dictatorship, not singing praise songs in D.C. cocktail parties.

Now, there’s a growing fight because President Trump dared to suggest that maybe it’s time for some new leadership in Ukraine. The media and left-wing elites are clutching their pearls, but let’s be honest—when leaders get too comfortable holding on to power, corruption follows. Liberals act like any criticism of Ukraine is some kind of crime against humanity. But what about their silence now that the war-torn country’s elections are canceled “for safety”?
