Big Tech loves to lecture Americans about privacy, but look who’s spying now. The FBI just swooped in and arrested an OpenAI employee after he allegedly planted a secret audio recorder inside a company conference room. The guy didn’t even bother to cover his tracks—cameras reportedly caught him in the act. So much for Silicon Valley being the gold standard of ethics.
Of course, OpenAI acted shocked and rang up the Feds right away. But let’s be honest, this is the same industry that hoards our data, mines it for profit, and then pretends it’s all in the name of public good. When one of their own is literally spying from inside their ivory tower, suddenly it’s a federal crisis. The hypocrisy couldn’t be thicker.
What’s especially alarming is how these globalist tech companies demand trust from the American people while proving again and again that they can’t even trust their own employees. With all the billions they rake in, and all the snooping they do on law-abiding citizens, maybe they should focus on getting their own house in order before preaching to the rest of us.
You have to wonder what drove this employee to make such a risky move. Was he after secret info? Corporate drama? Or is this just business as usual in the cutthroat world of left-leaning tech? Either way, it’s a glaring red flag about the culture of these companies—obsessed with power, control, and surveillance, but with zero accountability.
Americans know the truth. Liberals like to talk about “transparency” and “ethics,” but their own tech darlings can’t keep their own backyard clean. Maybe it’s time the rest of us stop listening to Big Tech’s sermons and start demanding answers. How much more corruption and double-talk are we supposed to swallow?
