California strikes again. The liberal elite in one of its most “woke” cities is rolling out a sneaky plan—for double taxation. That’s right, as average Americans are struggling with inflation and rising costs, the fat cats in this city want to slap on another tax. And what for? To bankroll their pet projects that no one actually needs—except their friends and cronies lining their pockets.
These tax-happy liberals love their schemes. But there’s a catch. They always pretend it’ll just be “other people”—the rich, the corporations, the nameless and faceless—who foot the bill. But we all know that never lasts. The so-called targets adapt. Ordinary families get hit with higher prices, fewer jobs, or worse services. All while the city politicians pat themselves on the back for their “compassion.”
What’s truly outrageous is that none of these new tax dollars ever seem to help regular folks. The roads stay broken, the schools keep failing, and crime only gets worse. Where does the money go? Straight to the top. It’s the insiders, the activists, and the political class who get richer and more powerful. Everyone else just gets left with the bill.
California used to be the symbol of the American Dream. Now, it’s a cautionary tale. When people hear about another city cash grab out West, they should ask who really benefits. Spoiler alert: it’s not the hardworking citizens trying to build a better life. It’s the globalist, anti-American fat cats who say one thing, do another, and never pay their fair share.
This is liberal hypocrisy at its finest. They promise fairness and equality, but deliver handouts to their own clique. Taxing people twice for the same thing isn’t progress—it’s an attack on common sense and freedom. How many times will voters fall for the same scam before they realize the truth: in woke California, the only people winning are the same elites who keep rigging the game?
