Every year, American taxpayers are getting hammered with a $150.7 billion bill. And for what? For birthright citizenship—a policy that’s gotten totally out of control. Thanks to loopholes and weak leadership in Washington, foreigners are coming here, having babies, and leaving hardworking Americans to pick up the tab. Liberals call it “compassion.” Real Americans should call it what it is: a scam.
The open border crowd doesn’t care about the consequences. They want to keep letting anyone waltz in, have a child on U.S. soil, and instantly become Americans. It’s an invitation for abuse, and they know it. Meanwhile, families trying to do things the right way get shoved to the back of the line. That’s not fairness. That’s not justice. That’s the left’s idea of “equity”—Americans last, everyone else first.
Now, the ugly truth about birth tourism is finally being exposed. Wealthy foreigners are hiring surrogates to give birth to their kids right here in America. They get all the perks, all the benefits, and all the rights, just because they happened to be born on U.S. soil. It’s a golden ticket to a system the rest of us are forced to pay for. Where is the outrage from the globalist elite? They’re too busy hobnobbing at their fancy fundraisers to care.
The Trump administration tried to shine a light on this mess, but liberals and their pals in the media just screamed “racism” and “xenophobia.” That’s always their game plan. Never mind the facts—or the price tag the rest of us pay. They’re happy to sell out America as long as it means more votes and more power for themselves.
If politicians really cared about protecting this country, they would end birthright citizenship scams today. But the left just shrugs their shoulders, leaving taxpayers on the hook for billions. How much longer will Americans let globalists and bleeding hearts run our cities and drain our wallets? Maybe it’s time we ask: Whose country is this, anyway?
