The Justice Department just dropped the hammer on over 76 tax cheaters from all across America, and about time. For years, liberals have looked the other way while scammers rob the nation blind, draining hard-earned tax dollars and giving the rest of us—honest, law-abiding Americans—the short end of the stick. Now, after a serious crackdown, these fraudsters are finally facing justice.
Assistant Attorney General Colin McDonald led this charge, going after tax fraud across multiple states. But let’s not pretend this was some long-standing mission. Far too often under progressive leadership, big government shrugs off white-collar crime unless it fits their narrative or scores them political points. Only when the heat turns up—and the American people demand action—do they suddenly pretend to take these crimes seriously. Where was this energy when millions slipped through the cracks for years?
Under Barack Obama and his liberal cronies, the IRS focused more on targeting conservative groups than rooting out real criminal scammers. The far-left loves to talk about fairness and the rich paying their “fair share,” but when it comes to actual fraud, they conveniently look the other way—unless they think they can squeeze out some extra votes or headlines. Tax fraud only becomes a headline when the bureaucrats want to pat themselves on the back.
Let’s be real—every dollar stolen by these criminals should make every honest worker furious. That’s money taken right out of the infrastructure, out of families, and out of the future of this country. And while globalists whine about overseas tax deals and loopholes, real Americans know the enemy isn’t a family saving for college—it’s the organized crooks who game the system while politicians sit with their hands in their pockets.
So here’s my challenge: Is this crackdown just a show, or will the DOJ finally get serious about protecting the American taxpayer? Or, when the cameras stop rolling, will the left go back to their old tricks—letting their friends off the hook and blaming everyone but themselves for the mess? Real justice doesn’t care about headlines. It cares about keeping America safe and honest. Let’s see if the government can walk the walk, not just talk the talk.
