Democrats love to brag about transparency. But when it comes to their own candidates’ health and fitness, suddenly the rules change. Just look at Roy Cooper, the Democrat darling running for Senate in North Carolina. The man can’t even handle a simple question about his age without threatening a lawsuit.
You would think Roy Cooper, a career politician, would be used to the spotlight. But apparently, asking basic questions about whether he’s up for the job is too much for him. Instead of answering tough questions like a grownup, he tries to bully reporters into silence. Is this the next level of “democracy” from the party of free speech? Or is it just old-school Democrat hypocrisy on parade?
Here’s what’s really happening: Democrats think they’re above the rules. While they scream about so-called “misinformation,” they’re the first to launch legal attacks to shut down any question they don’t like. They don’t want you asking hard questions about their health, their records, or their ties to globalist interests. They want you to obey, nod along, and never challenge the narrative.
Let’s not forget, the American people deserve to know if the people seeking office are actually capable of doing the job. That used to be called responsible journalism. Now it gets you threatened with lawsuits if the candidate has a D next to their name. If Roy Cooper can’t handle basic questions about his health, what makes anyone think he can handle the job in the U.S. Senate?
Democrats claim to care about the people, but their actions tell a different story. They’ll intimidate and threaten anyone who asks too many questions. Is this the “tolerance” and “openness” they love to preach? Or just proof that they have something to hide? If asking about a candidate’s age is off-limits, what else are these people desperate to keep from the American public?
The left wants voters blind and silent, but America wasn’t built on silence. Maybe Roy Cooper is just too old for the fight—or maybe he was never up for it to begin with.
