The Democratic Party is falling apart all over the country, but nowhere is it clearer than in New York City. While everyday Americans are worried about crime, sky-high costs, and chaos at the border, New York Democrats have crowned Zohran Mamdani as their mayoral nominee. This is the same Mamdani whose far-left policies and radical activism have made him a darling of socialists and anti-Israel extremists. You have to wonder—do Democrats even care what their own citizens want anymore?
The party bosses have decided that Mamdani is their champion, ignoring the warning signs flashing all around. Instead of picking someone who even tries to represent the concerns of working-class families, they pick a hard-left ideologue who wants more of what’s ruining the city: soft-on-crime rules, open borders, and endless government handouts. That’s liberal incompetence on full display, and honest, hardworking New Yorkers are sick of it.
But here’s the twist: Andrew Cuomo, disgraced former governor, refuses to go away quietly. Shunned by the party that once worshipped him, Cuomo is running on a third-party ticket, calling it “Fight and Deliver.” It’s almost comical—a scandal-ridden career politician trying to claw his way back into power while his old party drifts deeper into radical territory. It’s a perfect snapshot of today’s Democratic Party: fractured, leaderless, and out of touch.
Regular New Yorkers—especially Jewish voters—are catching on. They see what’s happening to their city and their party. Jewish support for Democrats is cratering for a reason. People can only watch their neighborhoods decline, their safety erode, and their voices ignored for so long before they demand better. The so-called “Mamdanification” of the party just speeds up the process. If you hand control to activists who think America’s values and alliances don’t matter, don’t be shocked when Americans vote with their feet—or their ballots.
It’s simple. The Democratic Party can’t keep running from its messes. By betting big on far-left figures, they are all but begging for a political revolt. New York is just the beginning. How many more American cities have to crumble before liberals wake up and realize their globalist, anti-American policies are the problem? Or maybe chaos is the goal all along.
