The so-called ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia has gone up in flames, and no one should be surprised. Ukraine’s military is ending any restraint on targeting Russian oil refineries, and President Zelensky claims Moscow broke all the rules by blasting away at Ukraine’s power grid. Here’s the cold, hard truth: Russia never honored that ceasefire for a single second. And, as usual, President Biden and his liberal allies stood back and watched while Kyiv got steamrolled.
Instead of backing up their tough talk, this White House keeps playing games with military aid. Zelensky is furious, and who can blame him? Washington promised Ukraine the tools it needed to defend itself—then ripped away the rug when things got tough. Biden waved the Ukrainian flag for every photo op, but when Putin came calling, all those promises dried up faster than California farmland. The American people deserve to know why their leaders keep selling out allies, leaving freedom-loving nations to twist in the wind.
It gets worse. Russia bombed critical infrastructure during an agreed ceasefire, and the globalists running Europe barely even blinked. If a conservative president had let America’s friends crumble while making empty threats, you’d never hear the end of it from cable news elites. But because this mess fits their political narrative, the liberal establishment just shrugs. Hypocrisy runs deep when it’s their own side doing the double-dealing.
Let’s not forget, these global “agreements” sound nice in glossy press releases, but they don’t mean squat if tyrants like Putin keep ignoring them. Liberals love to praise international pacts and smile about “world order”—except that world is run by bad actors who play dirty and laugh in the face of Western weakness. When the chips are down, all this talk about diplomacy ends up just talk. It’s everyday Ukrainians who pay the price, and America’s reputation that gets dragged through the mud.
If Biden and his crew can’t keep their word to a partner under siege, what makes any ally think America’s support is more than lip service? Maybe if our leaders worried less about their image in Brussels and more about standing up to real aggression, the world would actually start respecting the United States again. But with liberals calling the shots, don’t count on it. How much more failure does it take before voters wake up?
