Texas Democrats just can’t help themselves. James Talarico, a Senate hopeful and self-proclaimed “Christian seminarian,” got completely shut down by ordinary Americans during a CNN town hall. It was almost painful to watch. Here is a classic case of a liberal politician trying to twist faith, fumble his way through real questions, and getting exposed for the fraud that he is.
There Talarico stood, hoping his smooth-talking progressive schtick would win an easy round of applause. But then—a Catholic voter with real backbone called him out for his so-called “Christian” support of abortion on demand. The whole room watched as Talarico tried to dance around the truth, tossing out feel-good stuff about compassion. The voter wasn’t having it. She pushed back on his selective Bible quotes and exposed how fast “Christian values” disappear when they don’t fit the Democrat agenda.
This is what happens when Democrats pander to the radical left. They preach about “following the science” but ignore basic morality. They claim to have faith, but only when it’s convenient for their politics. American voters, especially those with real conviction, are tired of hypocrites like Talarico telling them what the Bible “really” means. The Texas crowd called out his nonsense. It’s about time.
Instead of answering for his pro-choice record, Talarico hid behind empty slogans and progressive buzzwords. He wanted to turn the debate into a mushy, lukewarm sermon with no real meaning. But regular folks know when politicians are lying straight to their faces. It only takes one strong voice to cut through the word salad and reveal the truth: the Democrat establishment cares more about winning power than protecting life.
James Talarico thought he could charm his way out of taking responsibility. He failed. This is the kind of liberal arrogance and double-talk that’s infecting our country. Texans—and all Americans—should take note: If your faith only matters when it wins votes, you don’t deserve to lead. When will these leftwing elites realize there are still voters who can’t be bought, bullied, or bamboozled?
