Could London actually be so woke that it bans Harry Potter events just because J.K. Rowling refuses to bow to the radical gender mob? The thought is mind-blowing—and yet it’s where we’re headed when spineless leaders let feelings and ideology stomp all over facts, freedom, and common sense.
Rowling’s Harry Potter books put British culture on the global map. Kids and adults fell in love with English castles and quirky British charm because of her stories. The movies raked in fortunes. The franchise has inspired real-life Quidditch matches, massive fan gatherings, and a whole universe of games. And still, leftist ideologues want it all erased because Rowling dares to defend basic biological reality. In today’s upside-down world, defending women’s rights and speaking up for girls means you get canceled.
London’s elites, always desperate to signal their “tolerance,” would rather shut down beloved traditions than face the wrath of shrieking activists online. Instead of protecting free expression and defending the values that make Britain—and the West—great, these cowards would throw away years of cultural achievement. All for fear of offending a handful of social media bullies who can’t stand the truth.
This isn’t just British nonsense. American parents and students should pay attention. Remember when cancel culture went after Dr. Seuss books? Now it’s Harry Potter. Next, it’ll be anything that doesn’t line up with the left’s ever-changing playbook. Liberals talk about “inclusion” and “diversity,” but their real goal is total control. If you don’t obey their ideology, you’re out. Doesn’t matter how much good you’ve done.
Enough is enough. Conservatives—and anyone who still believes in basic freedom—should stand with Rowling. Let’s not let woke mobs erase our stories, traditions, or voices. Will the left ban anything that’s loved and uniquely British—or American—just so globalists feel good about themselves? Or will we finally say: get your hands off our culture and our childhoods?
