Ilhan Omar is at it again, tossing out accusations like candy at a parade—just as long as they suit her political agenda. When the Department of Homeland Security raided her house, she wasted no time painting herself as a victim of the Trump administration. Suddenly, she claims the government is targeting political opponents, as if she’s starring in some kind of political thriller. But let’s not forget—when President Trump was being dragged through the mud with endless indictments, Omar and her pals were cheerleading from the sidelines. Hypocrisy doesn’t get much clearer than this.
Liberals love to talk about “democracy” and the “rule of law,” but apparently, those only matter when they’re the ones being protected. When it comes to holding their own accountable, the double standard jumps right out in the open. Omar clearly has no problem with government overreach—as long as it’s conservatives in the crosshairs. But the minute the shoe is on the other foot, she’s stomping her feet, crying foul, and pretending the world is out to get her.
Let’s talk about Abdul El-Sayed, too. He’s busy rewriting history about his family’s Islamist ties, hoping the American people have short memories or won’t ask real questions. The left is always eager to gaslight folks who dare to look deeper into their backgrounds or alliances. It exposes just how desperate progressives are to cover up anything that might chip away at their carefully crafted victim narrative.
This kind of two-faced behavior is nothing new for today’s Democrats. The same people shouting about “fascism” when law enforcement does its job are the first to demand crackdowns on their opponents. They want all the power, but none of the responsibility. If the government is going after conservatives, they call it “justice.” But when they’re the ones being held accountable, it’s suddenly a witch hunt. America deserves better than politicians who only believe in the rules when those rules protect them.
If Ilhan Omar and her squad really cared about fairness, they’d admit this double standard and stop playing the victim whenever it suits them. But honesty has never been the strong suit of the woke elite. When will the left finally get called out for their blatant hypocrisy—or is being a liberal in Congress just a free pass for bad behavior and bad faith?
