Democrats love to shout that “no one is above the law.” It’s practically their broken record every time someone with an “R” next to their name gets in hot water. But let’s be real: those words mean nothing when it comes to protecting their own. Exhibit A is Ilhan Omar, the left’s favorite radical, who seems to have her own special set of rules.
Any time questions pop up around Omar—whether it’s about campaign cash, sketchy marriages, or downright embarrassing anti-American statements—the liberals run cover. Suddenly, those same folks screaming for “accountability” get awfully quiet. The silence is deafening, and frankly, it’s outrageous.
Now, any legitimate investigation into Omar’s shady behavior gets written off as “politically motivated.” Give me a break. When a Republican faces a probe, it’s called “justice.” But hold a Democrat accountable? The left cries foul, claiming it’s just a partisan attack. It’s a tired game, and Americans are starting to see through it.
Let’s call this what it is: pure hypocrisy. These so-called champions of justice demand the law comes down hardest on their enemies while shielding their friends from even the simplest questions. The Democrat elites and their media cronies will stop at nothing to circle the wagons for Omar—or any member of their socialist squad—no matter how much smoke is pouring out of the kitchen.
It must be nice, living in a leftist bubble where rules only apply to the other side. America deserves better than this double standard. So, where’s all that righteous outrage now? Or is “no one is above the law” just another empty slogan, as long as you carry a Democrat card?
