Malibu is burning again, and the liberal elite running California are nowhere to be found. For years, their answer to wildfire season has been empty rhetoric, climate hysteria, and blaming hardworking Americans. Now, real families in Malibu are being forced from their homes because the state refused to do its job.
Government officials knew high winds and dry weather were going to be a problem. They even issued a red flag warning, pretending that repeating the obvious counts as leadership. Still, when the winds picked up and flames started to roar, all these so-called “experts” could do was scramble to send out evacuation orders. This isn’t leadership—it’s damage control for disasters their own policies help cause.
Let’s not forget, California’s far-left lawmakers have spent years tying the hands of those who actually know how to manage forests. They attack loggers, block controlled burns, and bury small-town residents in red tape. They’d rather funnel taxpayer money into green boondoggles and lecture the rest of America about “climate justice” than actually clear dead brush or thin out tinderbox forests. Regular folks pay the price while the Hollywood crowd retreats to luxury hotels.
If California politicians cared about preventing wildfires, they would stop chasing woke headlines and actually get serious. Instead, it’s always excuses, always “global warming” and never “government failure.” The globalists in Sacramento care more about virtue signaling to their friends in Brussels than protecting the people right here at home. Meanwhile, entire neighborhoods burn and lives are turned upside down.
This is what we get from decades of left-wing mismanagement—fear, chaos, and broken communities. How many more Malibu wildfires do we need before someone asks: will California’s leaders ever put people ahead of politics? Or is it easier for them to just run and hide while the state goes up in smoke—again?
