Forty years ago, a brave economist called out America’s failures—and the country still hasn’t listened. Back then, Melvyn Krauss warned Washington that just fighting communism wasn’t enough. Instead, he urged America to spread capitalism everywhere. Guess what? The elites in power ignored him, wasting decades trying to out-muscle enemies without winning any real hearts or minds.
The so-called experts on the left have always painted capitalism as greedy and unfair. But here’s the truth: capitalism has done more to lift people out of poverty than any liberal handout program ever dreamed of. While America obsessed over endless foreign wars and nation building, we forgot to sell the one thing that makes our country great—freedom, opportunity, and the true American Dream.
Globalists and bureaucrats were busy stuffing their own pockets. They cheered for open borders and reckless spending, all while average Americans paid the price. Instead of exporting prosperity, we exported jobs. Instead of inspiring the world with our model, we let other nations walk all over us. Liberals love to talk about helping the poor, but when it comes to backing American innovation and entrepreneurship, they disappear faster than a campaign promise after election day.
It’s about time the right wakes up and listens. America should never just react to threats—we should set the standard for the world. That means putting capitalism front and center, not hiding it behind layers of useless government regulations. The left claims they want fairness, but what they really want is control. True conservatives know that unleashing the power of the people is what scares the ruling class the most.
The fight isn’t just against failed ideologies from decades past. It’s against every politician, professor, and pundit who wants to smother American greatness with their failed dreams of socialism. Why keep playing defense when it’s time for a full-scale offensive? Want to build a better world? Stop apologizing for success, and start exporting it. That’s how America wins.
