Yet again, Hollywood walks away clean while average Americans just shake their heads. Timothy Busfield, an actor who got hit with disturbing allegations of child sexual abuse from his time filming in New Mexico, is off the hook. A judge tossed out all the charges—four of them—against Busfield, who was accused of inappropriate touching involving not one, but two children on the set of a TV show. The liberal elite will be quick to celebrate this “justice” as the system working. But anyone with common sense knows something stinks.
Let’s talk about the entertainment industry’s track record. This is the same crowd that preaches moral superiority from their ivory towers, all while hiding the filth lurking behind the scenes. Allegations like these aren’t unusual in show business, but every time a big name gets caught, the left circles the wagons and pretends they care about children. They don’t. If there’s money and connections, the powerful always find a way to walk free—unlike the regular, hard-working Americans who’d get the book thrown at them.
Look at how quick the corporate media is to sweep stories like this under the rug. They won’t spend days screaming about the failed system or demand accountability for Hollywood. Instead, the left buries the truth beneath a pile of red-carpet distractions and meaningless virtue signaling. The so-called “defenders of justice” glare all day at conservative America, yet give their own a free pass every time. If this had happened at a church or on a farm, you can bet the outrage mobs would never let it go.
The worst part? The globalist influence on our justice system only grows stronger. When well-connected actors are accused of the worst crimes imaginable, and get their cases dismissed without a sweat, it’s no wonder people have lost faith in the courts. The entire system bows to celebrity and cash, not the rule of law. Regular folks just trying to protect their kids don’t stand a chance when the left’s favorite stars come under fire.
If America wants to protect its children, it might be time to demand the same harsh treatment for Hollywood royalty as you’d get if you messed up at your local Wal-Mart. The left can celebrate the dismissal all they want—but no one believes real justice was served. At what point will our courts stop protecting the powerful and start standing for what’s right?
