Parents fear for kids lives while politicians play games with school safety

It’s a sad day in America when parents can’t drop their kids off at school without worrying about real threats to their children’s lives. Not so long ago, a mom’s biggest worry was whether her daughter had her lunch, or if she’d get along with her friends. Now, it’s about whether her child will make it home in one piece. That’s the harsh reality we’re living in, thanks to politicians who care more about woke talking points than basic safety.

Liberal lawmakers have turned schools into ideological playgrounds while ignoring real children’s safety. When violent lunatics threaten our classrooms, what do these so-called leaders do? Usually, they offer meaningless words and tired slogans. Instead of securing schools, they push gun-free zone signs—as if a criminal cares about a sign. The left’s answer to everything is another committee, another task force, more “conversation.” But when will they actually act to stop the madness?

Every tragic headline, every heartbreaking story of innocent children hurt, should serve as a wake-up call for America. Yet the people in charge seem asleep at the wheel. They’re too busy pandering to the loudest activists, too scared to cross the progressive agenda, and too eager to please their globalist buddies. Our children get shoved to the bottom of the priorities list.

Parents are sick of empty promises. They want real solutions: secure entrances, properly trained resource officers, and an end to the endless handwringing. The reality is, kids’ safety should be non-negotiable. Any politician who puts politics above protecting the next generation has no right to hold office. That’s exactly what’s happening—cowards in charge, kids left vulnerable.

How many more families need to worry every single day before our leaders finally put children before their own egos and their next television interview? The time for weak leadership is over. Kids—and America—deserve so much better.
