There it is, folks. The Trump Department of Justice is putting California’s left-wing bureaucrats on notice: counting noncitizen ballots is a federal crime, and those who do it could finally face real punishment. For years, Democrats in California have played fast and loose with our elections. They turn a blind eye to illegal voting, water down the value of every legal citizen’s ballot, and then act offended when anyone calls them out. Now the law is catching up.
It’s no coincidence the warning went to officials in Los Angeles County, ground zero for the progressive scheme to let just about anyone vote, legal or not. This county is a playground for the radical left. For too long, they’ve assumed that nobody—especially not a Republican Justice Department—would ever dare to hold them accountable. But Americans are tired of watching their votes drowned out by globalist open-border schemes.
Liberals love to lecture us about democracy, but you don’t get real democracy by letting noncitizens stuff the ballot box. Every time an ineligible ballot is counted, it robs honest Americans of their voice. California leftists know this, but they’d rather pander to foreign nationals than protect the rights of their own citizens. They’re banking on chaos, confusion, and corruption to keep themselves in power.
Governor Gavin Newsom and his cronies have been asleep at the wheel, or maybe they’re just fine with this lawlessness. Either way, the DOJ is making it clear that the days of looking the other way are over. If California officials knowingly let illegal ballots slide through, they won’t be able to hide behind their office titles. They’ll be facing the full force of the law, as they should.
It’s about time someone drew a line in the sand. Why is it such a radical idea to want only Americans voting in American elections? The left pretends it’s racist or “anti-immigrant” to demand election integrity. In reality, it’s common sense—and what every honest American expects. Maybe if more federal authorities started enforcing the actual laws, these blue state politicians would finally realize our elections are not their personal playground. The real question: why are Democrats always terrified at the idea of following the law?
