California Exposes 7 Million Students Private Data Parents Left Furious as Leaders Blame Everyone Else

California’s failed leadership strikes again. The so-called “progressive” state—famous for preaching tolerance and security—has managed to let private data on 7 million students fall into the hands of hackers. That’s right, over the last three school years, names, addresses, all kinds of personal data, and even whether students have a disability or not, were exposed. Where’s the outrage from the same liberals who act holier-than-thou about “data privacy” whenever it concerns their political interests?

This is the result when bureaucrats, beholden to unions and global leftist tech giants, run education instead of real Americans who actually care about families. The people in charge would rather lecture parents about their “equity agendas” than bother learning how to secure a network. Our kids’ most private information has now been handed to the world—just one more present from the party of so-called compassion.

Let’s not sugarcoat it: exposing this kind of data is a disaster. Parents deserve answers, not excuses. Imagine what can happen when criminals know not just your child’s address, but their health status. California’s government, obsessed with data collection and “diversity metrics,” wants every detail recorded—as long as they don’t have to protect any of it. If a conservative state pulled this, coastal elites would be screaming for heads to roll.

But don’t hold your breath for any accountability. The same out-of-touch politicians promising “safe schools” are the ones who can’t safeguard a basic database. Their only answer will be throwing more taxpayer money at the same tech companies that failed from the start. That’s what you get from a blue state: more spending, less protection, and not a shred of responsibility.

California’s leaders had one job—to protect the children in their schools. Instead, they sold the woke dream and left families exposed. So why should any parent trust these liberal bureaucrats with another ounce of power—or with their precious children at all?
