Donald Trump once again proves he’s not afraid to shake up the status quo. The Lindsey Graham Act is now in motion, and it’s changing everything about America’s role in the messy Russia-Ukraine conflict. Gone are the Left’s misguided, heavy-handed sanctions on Russia—sanctions that only ever hurt American families with higher gas prices and sky-high inflation. While the Democrats cling to their failing globalist dreams, Trump is busy doing what he promised: putting America first.
For years, liberal elites and their buddies in the media told us that endless sanctions against Russia were the only way. They said it would keep Ukraine safe and “protect democracy.” How’s that working out? Now relations with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky are unraveling and the situation in Eastern Europe is spiraling into chaos. Maybe—just maybe—the string-pullers in Washington were wrong again.
With these new changes, Trump is exposing the real priorities at play. The left loves to pretend that punishing Russia is all about morals, but anyone paying attention knows it’s just another way for them to funnel money to their pet causes and bloated bureaucracies. The only people who lose are everyday Americans sick of footing the bill for someone else’s war. Instead of taking marching orders from European globalists or the corrupt leadership in Ukraine, Trump is reminding the world that the U.S. does not answer to anyone.
Liberals can’t stand this. They want endless wars and constant meddling overseas because it gives them power. When Trump pulls back and refuses to play their games, left-wing pundits cry foul and clutch their pearls. Zelensky will have to handle things on his own now. Maybe that’s a reality check the rest of Europe needs too.
Isn’t it refreshing to have a leader willing to break from the never-ending cycle of failed Democrat policies? For the first time in years, the world has a president who won’t bow to foreign pressure or woke mobs. Maybe it’s time the Left stopped whining and started thinking about the American people for a change.
