Case in point: players from the Atlanta Dream and Las Vegas Valkyries couldn’t even stand on the court during the National Anthem at the WNBA Finals. Instead, they marched themselves off, only dragging their feet back once the song ended. What a disgrace.
This is what the radical left’s grip on sports looks like. The National Anthem isn’t just some old tune—it’s a mark of freedom that countless Americans died to protect. Now, woke athletes treat it as a stage for petty protest. Fans are getting fed up. Who wants to watch millionaires who refuse a moment of respect for the nation that gave them everything?
While the liberal media fawns over these “brave” players, ordinary Americans see the truth. This isn’t activism. It’s childish attention-seeking wrapped up as social justice. Real courage is standing tall and honoring the flag, especially when it’s not popular in elite circles. But courage is in short supply when the spotlight is brighter than your patriotism.
Let’s not forget: these athletes are playing in a woman’s league that American taxpayers have often propped up. The NBA and WNBA talk about “inclusion” and “unity,” but their relentless pandering to anti-American behavior shows what they’re really about—globalist talking points and leftist virtue signaling. Meanwhile, true basketball fans are turning the channel.
People are tired of spoiled athletes and liberal leadership turning sports into a political circus. Maybe if these players spent more time honing their game than staging walkouts, the WNBA would fill a stadium for once.
