Barack Obama just can’t help himself. Rather than stay out of the mess that is Ilhan Omar’s latest scandal, he’s jumping right in—defending her and attacking Donald Trump for daring to investigate a Democrat golden child. Now, Americans are supposed to look the other way while serious questions swirl around Rep. Omar’s immigration history? Only in the topsy-turvy world of the left.
This isn’t about race or religion, no matter how desperately liberals try to play those cards to cover up their own failures. The real problem here is that there might be serious wrongdoing around Omar’s path into this country, and President Trump is absolutely right to demand real answers. Yet here comes Obama, acting like it’s some massive injustice to expect Democrat politicians to follow the laws that every other American has to obey.
Let’s face facts: The elites and their media buddies are terrified. When conservatives push to investigate left-wing darlings, suddenly the rules change. Liberals are quick to scream about “attacks on democracy” every time someone holds one of their own accountable. It’s pure hypocrisy. When the shoe’s on the other foot, these same progressives want investigations for anything and everything—against Trump, against his supporters, against YOU.
Obama’s rant shows exactly what’s wrong with his wing of the Democrat Party. There’s no respect for our laws or the Americans who believe in them. Globalists like Obama think rules are just suggestions for their friends. No wonder the country has seen wave after wave of scandals—whether from Hillary’s emails, Biden’s millions, or now Omar’s shady past. Liberals always find a way to blame everyone else.
At the end of the day, if Ilhan Omar has nothing to hide, an investigation should be no problem. But Obama’s fit proves he’d rather protect the Democrat Party than protect the truth. Americans see the game, and we’re sick of it. How much more nonsense will voters put up with from hypocrites who refuse to play by the rules they insist we all follow?
