A brave Republican congressman has demanded answers, calling on Congress to launch an investigation into just what—or who—is behind these outages. He’s right. Too many lives—American-supported and freedom-loving—are on the line while tech giants and DC bureaucrats play games.
While left-wing politicians and their media lapdogs talk endlessly about protecting democracy, they can’t even guarantee reliable communication in a war zone. Instead, globalist interests, Big Tech cronies, and the Biden administration keep making excuses. Have they bothered to ask who’s profiting or who’s really calling the shots when Starlink goes dark? Silence from the left. As usual, liberals push for accountability only when they can use it as a weapon against conservatives.
Starlink has been a lifeline for Ukrainian soldiers and civilians, giving them the communication tools they need to stand up to brutal Russian aggression. Suddenly, that lifeline is cut. Who stands to gain from this chaos? Could it be left-wing global elites, profiteering tech tycoons, or—heaven forbid—foreign actors the Democrats would rather appease than confront? It’s outrageous that, instead of demanding answers, the Biden administration seems content with hand-wringing and finger-pointing.
The congressman’s call to action couldn’t be more necessary. Congress must dig deep and shine a light on the murky world of global technology and its ties to the American defense. Lives are being lost while liberals are too busy patting themselves on the back to see the disaster unfolding on their watch. Americans deserve to know who’s playing with life-and-death switches overseas—especially when American tax dollars are funding so much of Ukraine’s defense.
Why should anyone trust the Democrats or their globalist masters to defend freedom abroad when they won’t even protect it in the digital age? It’s time to stop playing nice with those who treat American power like it’s just another bargaining chip. Congress needs to get to the bottom of these Starlink disruptions—because the left surely won’t. How many people have to die before liberals finally take responsibility?
