The government keeps finding new ways to watch and record innocent Americans, and too many people seem fine with it. Now, in West Virginia, lawmakers are finally sounding the alarm about license plate reader cameras. For years, we’ve been told these cameras are just for “safety.” But now we hear that no one really knows who can access the footage, how it’s used, or what rules even exist. How convenient for Big Brother and the bureaucrats who want to control every move we make.
Liberals and slick corporate types love to talk about “privacy,” but don’t believe it for a second. The truth is, they want a society where the rules only apply to conservatives. When leftist politicians or their cronies get caught, suddenly transparency doesn’t matter. But if you speak out at a school board meeting, don’t be surprised if there’s a camera pointed right at your car, tracking you wherever you go.
The biggest joke? Supposed “safeguards” to protect our rights are nothing but hot air. These camera networks have mushroomed all over the country. Nobody can give a straight answer about who’s watching. Tech companies rake in taxpayer money while the rest of us have to trust the system won’t be abused. Trust the government with your privacy? Just ask the patriots targeted by the IRS or the FBI.
Lawmakers and privacy advocates—on both sides of the aisle, shockingly—are asking hard questions in West Virginia. They want to know who can see this footage, for how long, and for what reason. Shouldn’t those answers be clear before one more camera goes up? The American people deserve to know if they’re living in a free country or just another pawn on a globalist chessboard.
If the left really cared about American freedoms, they’d be tearing out every last spycam, not installing more. It’s time patriots everywhere demanded answers—and accountability. Are we going to wake up before our liberties are nothing but a memory?
